
MEET DAVID VEST, YOUR PRODUCER
David Vest is a producer and multi‑instrumentalist with more than thirty years of experience in the recording industry. He began his career as a songwriter and session player and is now fluent in fourteen instruments. Over the decades, he has produced and arranged thousands of projects for a wide range of successful artists and bands.
An accomplished producer and engineer, David’s work can be heard on radio, television, and in motion pictures around the world. He was nominated for the GMA Covenant Awards’ Producer of the Year in 2018 and has spent most of his professional career working in the Nashville area.
His credits include Grammy winners Bob Carlisle, Kelvin Wooten, Tom Hemby, and Randy Thomas; actress Lindsay Lohan; actress Leigh-Allyn Baker; actor Kirk Cameron; actress Candace Cameron Bure; Tony Award winner Daisy Eagan; and notable artists such as Charles Billingsley, Brittany Smith, Justin and Tab, Jesse Priest, Brad Thomas, Eric Lemons, Kaylee Jordan, Charley Cain, Bob Owens, Jonah Evans, Alabama Heathens, Graham Ord, Eddie James, and Sam Ahia.
His commercial and broadcast clients include SEC Football, Texas A&M University, HBO, HGTV, Acura, Armor All, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Brainy Pixel. He has also toured extensively providing production for Natalie Grant, Jeremy Camp, Danny Gokey, Casting Crowns, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mandisa, MercyMe, Josh Turner, Michael W. Smith, the Gaither Vocal Band, and many others.
David is also an active composer of original music for television and film. His recent workincludes projects for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Alaska Rescue Story with Mike Rowe, SECFootball, Texas A&M University, a global Armor All commercial, Acura, the award‑winningchildren’s pilot Cubekins, the television pilot Safe Point, and the motion picture thrillers Dark Entities and Dark Entities II. Known for his distinctive orchestral writing and his ability to craft authentic “live band” soundtrack productions, he continues to attract clients from around the world.
